Deep and bright in hue, the nose is open with notes of ripe berry and stone-fruit to the fore. The cool ripeness present in the grand vin is well represented here, in this fleshy, generous second wine of Lynch-Bages.

The 2006 Echo de Lynch Bages Chateau Haut-Bages Averous is a classic representation of Pauillac's rich winemaking heritage. This wine, previously known as 'Haut-Bages Averous', is the second label of the renowned Chateau Lynch-Bages. It boasts a savory and classic profile, with a dry palate that is beautifully balanced by its oaked maturation. The wine is aged in one-year-old French oak barrels for 12 months, imparting a subtle complexity and depth. The vineyard's Garonne Gravel terroir contributes to the wine's distinctive character, with hand-picked and meticulously sorted grapes ensuring the highest quality. This wine pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb, beef stew, aged cheeses, and roasted duck.
