An 1855 Cru Classé, Château Cantermerle's vineyard consists of plots of fine gravel soil beside the Gironde estuary. Château Cantemerle's wine is full of charm, developing flavours of black cherry and blackberry. Its tannins are silky on the palate and linger well. Pleasant and elegant from the outset, the wine has a good aging potential. It expresses the fullness of its aromas and all its power and complexity after a decade. To the delight of wine enthusiasts, the wines eventually become more supple and velvety. This high-quality cru classé is excellent value for money.
