Nervi Conterno 位於意大利 Piedmont Cuneo 的 Monforte d'Alba，以出產頂級 Barolo 葡萄酒聞名。

20世紀初以前，大多數 Barolo 葡萄酒的風格都是易飲、適宜早飲的。直到20年代，出身於釀酒世家的 Giacomo，想要打造具有強大陳年潛力的巴羅洛；在經過數次試驗後，成功釀造出了理想中的巴羅洛葡萄酒，並根據酒莊所在地名將這款酒命名：Monfortino。也因此款酒，酒莊一躍成為巴羅洛地區、甚至是全意大利名氣最大的酒莊之一。Monfortino 更是成為了傳統派Barolo 的代表酒款。

西元2018年，Conterno 家族第四代傳人，同時也是現任莊主的Roberto Conterno 收購位於 Gattinara DOCG Cantine Nervi 90%的股份，進而將酒莊由 Giacomo Conterno 改名為 Nervi Conterno。

Wine Advocate (95/100) : As all Nebbiolo lovers know well, this mighty Piedmont grape is especially sensitive to place. That's the main takeaway with the Conterno Nervi 2018 Gattinara Vigna Valferana. This is a west-facing vineyard at 300 to 350 meters in altitude that is characterized by volcanic soils and slightly cooler conditions, resulting in an etched and very focused expression of Nebbiolo (as opposed to Molsino that tends to be open-knit and more concentrated). Valferana is tightly chiseled and crisp, with blue flower, sour cherry, tobacco smoke, underbrush and candied orange peel. The wine offers a complete picture of the grape from Gattinara with some extra tannic edge to carry it through the years.
