One 300 litre barrel, all whole bunch. Deep purple, with a hugely extravagant bouquet, the sumptuousness of the year adding an extra degree of succulence. Here the wood treatment isn't subtle though it's not so much as to dominate the ripe and intensely floral-suffused aromas of black cherry, currant, earth and soft spice wisps. There is excellent vibrancy and richness to the concentrated and tautly muscular flavors that possess a beguiling texture on the balanced, saline and sneaky long finish.
