Description

It offers attractive dewy green apples, freshly sliced pear and hints of mirabelle on the nose, which needs a few swirls of the glass to awaken. The palate is well balanced with orange zest and citrus lemon and hints of lime, all matched with a fine bead of acidity.

Hubert Lamy founded his estate in 1973, starting with one hectare of Saint-Aubin from his father and additional leased vineyards. Over the years, he expanded the estate to 14 hectares, with 10 being premier cru, primarily replanting with Chardonnay. Olivier, who joined in 1995, introduced innovations like high-density plantations and the Guyot Poussard training system. Despite early challenges, the Lamys achieved remarkable results, producing about 100,000 bottles annually from 20 appellations, emphasising meticulous hand-harvesting and organic cultivation.
