Anchored in Gevrey-Chambertin since the 19th century , Domaine Tortochot carries the family heritage under Chantal Tortochot ( 4th generation). With 11 hectares , including prestigious Grands Crus such as Clos Vougeot, Charmes-Chambertin and Mazy-Chambertin, the estate is part of the region's wine-growing tradition. Since the 2000s, Chantal has led the estate towards more environmentally friendly viticulture, eliminating fining and filtration, and opting for organic conversion in 2013. This approach demonstrates her commitment to the preservation of nature and vines .
The style of Domaine Tortochot wines is renowned for its richness, with fruity aromas and powerful tannins. These Pinots, while remaining elegant, offer very good aging potential, thus embodying the excellence and tradition of Gevrey-Chambertin .
