Description
Hoffmann-Demangeot is a boutique Burgundy estate in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, founded by Charlotte Hoffmann and Alexandre Demangeot. They combine deep family heritage with a minimalist artistic vision, producing highly sought-after, handcrafted Pinot Noir and Aligoté wines that transparently express their native terroir.
A Fusion of Art and Terroir:
The Founders: Rooted in multi-generational winegrowing (Alexandre is the son and grandson of winemakers), the duo brings both profound familial expertise and modern artistry to their craft.
The Aesthetics: The estate is celebrated for its striking, minimalist labels that are thoughtfully inspired by natural color charts.

Signature Vintages & Approach:
The Wines: Focused on transparent, expressive profiles. Their portfolio highlights regional staples, including highly regarded cuvées such as the 2023 Hoffmann-Demangeot Bourgogne Aligoté and the 2023 Hoffmann-Demangeot Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune Vauvelout.
The Philosophy: The estate serves as a faithful, contemporary interpretation of the Burgundy landscape, offering a rare and highly limited approach to Hautes-Côtes de Beaune.

The 2023 Hoffmann-Demangeot Bourgogne Aligoté is a vibrant, green and flinty white wine from Burgundy, France. Showcasing bright tension, round fruit weight, and a long finish, it pairs excellently with seafood and fresh cheeses.

Grape Variety:
100% Aligoté, typically harvested from 1950s plantings of the prized aligoté doré clone.

Aromatics & Palate:
Features notes of nut and yellow-flesh fruits with a terpenic profile that includes hints of incense or moss. It shows great fruit concentration and a long finish on fresh white fruits and plums.

Serving & Pairing:
Best served chilled at 10°C in tulip glasses. It is highly recommended with vegetable starters, salads, shellfish, or cream and fresh cheeses.

Production Details:
Hand-harvested and gently pressed, with fermentation and 18 months of aging taking place strictly in inox stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape's natural acidity. Production is limited to an average of around 3,000 bottles per annum.
