Soil: Originating from the disintegration of the "Chianti Macigno" (Chianti rock), sandy with medium stoniness and no limestone. The pH is sub-acid.
Vinification: After hand-destemming the selected grapes, the pressed grapes are placed in cocciopesto amphorae to ferment and macerate until December. Once racked, they are again placed in the cocciopesto to age until the following September. Bottled unfiltered and without added sulfites.
Tasting Notes: Prolonged contact with the skins and fine lees guarantees a wine full of color, with excellent structure and a very balanced tannic texture. Cloudy by nature, possible presence of sediment.
